Transition Facility (TF) & DHK Grants

To strengthen the position of Dutch companies in emerging markets the Duch Government is offering two, very similar Grant Programmes: Transition Facility (TF) & DHK Grant. These programmes, available for Dutch companies, are administered by NL Agency EVD Internationaal (EVD).

Funds are earmarked for the use of financing Feasibility Studies, Market Entry Reports and Product & Services Demonstration Projects.

PSI – Private Sector Investment

PSI, funded by the Dutch government, is an attractive source of financing if you have a qualifying investment project. PSI is a competitive programme which opens twice a year with deadlines typically in February and August and is administered by NL Agency EVD Internationaal (EVD).

The programme supports private sector investment in 59 countries, providing 50% (60% in fragile states) grant financing of investments ranging between Euro 0.5 million and Euro 1.5 million. The aim of the programme is to contribute to economic development in the target country by stimulating foreign-local business partnerships to invest in new economic activity that is sustainable and likely to have significant development impact.

Grant facilities typically target high-risk investment projects that have a high payoff in terms the programme’s specific developmental objectives.

Grant programmes are generally organised as competitions as there are far more qualifying project ideas than can be funded. In case of development banks, a grant is often provided to complement a larger concessional and/or commercial loan.

The below selection of Grant Programmes may apply to your case. Contact us for more information or send us your company profile and project idea for first scrutiny, so that we can advise you if and how you can qualify for grant funding.
